Dear School #8 Families,
It is with great enthusiasm that I want to introduce myself and welcome you to Fulton Avenue School #8! I am delighted to be a part of the School #8 Family. Oceanside is an incredible community and I look forward to working with you so that we can ensure that the most engaging and rewarding learning experiences are offered to our students.

“America’s Hope for the Future Passes Through These Doors,” is the quote emblazoned above our main entrance. The quote signifies the importance of our role in nurturing and educating our students. At School #8, we consider it a privilege to work with your children each day. We believe that each and every child is deserving of the finest education. We have high expectations of our learners and our staff is uniquely qualified to provide the students of School #8 with an outstanding education that includes becoming knowledgeable, mature, and civic minded.

We are excited to be welcoming our incoming first graders from School #6! We will do all we can to provide them with the smoothest transition as they begin their years at School #8.

I would like to offer a sincere thank you to our custodial staff, who have been working exceptionally hard to make the building ready for the first day of school. Thank you to our wonderful main office team who have been busy preparing materials for the new school year.

Our overall mission is to develop future leaders by supporting healthy physical, social-emotional growth and academic mastery while building community. Through a collaborative school community that promotes character development and equity, School #8 will provide the finest educational experience to our students!
