Oceanside High School celebrated the induction of 64 students into its National English Honor Society chapter on October 29th in a ceremony honoring academic excellence and dedication to the literary arts.

Oceanside High School’s Counseling and English departments hosted the annual Senior Interview Day on Friday, September 19. The event prepares high school seniors for job and/or college interviews, complete with creating resumes, prepping for and participating in the interviews, and following up with a letter of thanks.
More than 30 volunteers, including OSD staff, Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital professionals, Molloy and Adelphi college reps, and members of the Oceanside community, pitched in to conduct 400 interview

Oceanside High School NCAA Coordinator Frank Luisi has been named a recipient of the National Football Foundation (NFF) Chapter Leadership Award for the East Region. This national recognition underscores Mr. Luisi's long-standing commitment to student success both on and off the athletic field

Oceanside High School juniors Emma Lopez and Arianna Shamin, members of the Symphonic Choir (Honors Choir), have been selected to perform in the prestigious New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State Treble Choir.
